Control your Computer’s USB Ports – Enable or Disable Them – USB CONTROL

Pen drives are said to be one of the most dangerous carriers of VIRUSES. Every fifth computer in the world is infected by a virus which is transferred by a pen drives.

Some times children while sharing games with their friends transfer viruses from other’s computer, sometimes people transfer data from one PC to another.

But here is one solution to it, you can block your PC’s USB by simply running a command prompt which I have made. It will disable all the USB ports except for the keyboard and mouse ones. It also has the option to enable them back.

Instructions

Just extract the contents of the folder and Run “RunME.cmd”. Select “Enable USB” or “Disable USB” as per your will and then confirm the dialog box which opens by clicking Yes.

Access Hidden Themes in Windows 7

Some of you may be knowing this and some of you may not, but yes Windows 7 has some predefined hidden themes that can be used.

These themes come along with Windows 7 but are hidden inside the Windows folder.

How to access these?

Browse to C: (Basically the folder where Windows is installed) and then go to Windows folder and open Globalization.

Here you will see two folders : ELS and SORTING

Now in the navigation bar above click once and type in the following code:

C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\

Now you will get five folders (starting with MCT-…) which will have different themes in it.

You can install and apply these themes.

Get your phone Ready….

 

Make sure you have rooted your device and have a custom recovery installed. If you don’t have any one of  these then don’t proceed.

Installing the ROM….

 

1. Copy the ROM to your phone’s internal or external storage. Switch off the phone now

2. Reboot your phone into recovery by using VOL UP + HOME +POWER.

3. Select “wipe data/factory reset”.

4. Select “wipe cache partition”.

5. Select “Mounts and Partition” and select “Format /system”.

6. Select “Advanced > Wipe dalvik Cache”.

7. Come back to min menu and select “Install zip from sdcard. ” and select the ROM file.

8. Select Reboot System Now.

And you are done….
